Daylynn

My grandson Daylynn was just been diagnosed with diabetes at age 10 and it was an extremely rough year for him.  Daylynn was nervous and had never been away from us that long, especially being ill.  We didn’t know how he was going to feel about it going forward but it allows him to relax for a week because everyone is on the same schedule.  During school he has to go to the nurse several times per day at school and we know its frustrating for him.

As soon as he came home this past summer he said (Can I go for two weeks next summer?) Not knowing the answer I had to reach out to the camp administrator.

He just started Middle School, so a lot of things are changing for him but I do know that the Diabetes Camp is a positive part of his life and I can totally see him maybe wanting to be a counselor going forward.

Thank you Camp Angels

Daylynn
