Dear Camp Angels
Thank you again for the scholarship to Diabetes camp. I just got back from camp two weeks ago, and this year was amazing. Camp is always the highlight of my summer. I did a rope course, it was awesome! I also took a photography class and some of my photos were posted on the camp website. We had a gaga tournament (it’s everyone’s favorite game) and our team made it pretty far. To me, diabetes camp is a place where I get to express myself and I truly feel like I fit in there. Every year, I learn more about my disease and how to handle it better. This was my seventh year and I cannot wait for next year. I hope to become a CIT (Counselor-in-training) in two years. Again, thank you so much for the scholarship, I had a blast!
